Chapter(unknown)-Am I seeing Stars? Two loud bangs were heard outside the large crimson metal door that disconnected the devils in the room from the outside world where mere mortals wandered. Everyone in the room, but Yuki and Riku, jumped to their feet prepared to kill if the intruder succeeded in breaking the door down. Another loud bang echoed throughout the room causing the hairs on the back of Sky's neck to stand up.
Sky felt the tension in the room as another loud bang came followed by more. He clutched his gun with shaky hands his accident almost making him lose the memory of how to even hold a gun. His eyes the color of the crimson door starred intently on the rattling of it every time a loud bang came. He closed his eyes for a moment trying to concentrate and calm his nerves. Then he opened them a totally different person. His hands stopped shaking and he held the gun with on hand. His eyes glazed with excitement. “Come on. Come on. I’ve been waiting for a challenge.” He smirked his fangs hanging out giving off a dark atmosphere around him.
Bang! Bang! Bang! Boom! The door flew to the floor and everyone in the room was on their toes with guns ready until they heard a delicate yet loud voice that was clearly female. “Hey losers! Miss me?” An average height teen stood where the door used to be her blonde hair swinging in front of her slightly tanned skin. She wore her hair in a sloppy braid with pieces falling out of the hair bow’s grip. Her bangs swept to the right partially covering her right golden colored eye. Two bright yellow eyes scanned the room sweeping over the various expressions in the room at her sudden reappearance. Her sunny eyes met Sky’s crimson eyes.
Sky felt himself melt in the yellow eyes that bore into his very core, but luckily the new found confidence and memory reflected the feeling that her gaze gave him. His jaw was firm with anticipation to kill the blonde in the door way. Crimson eyes looked the stranger up and down memorizing every curve and feature of her being down to the black hair bow that held her hair. She wore a frilly black mini skirt, a black leather corset, and black leather boots that went to her knees. The corner of his mouth twitched as he imagined ripping her pretty little face off with his bare hands digging into the skin with his long finger nails feeling the skin pull back over the bone as the blood oozed out under his hands.
Edge and Gun ran up to their sister with tear streaked cheeks throwing their arms around her. As the hug came to an end they all three let go at the same time smiling at each other for now they were together once again they could be called their name they had when together that they had gotten from hell. The Tri-Sisters. The sisters who never left each other and together they were unstoppable. The girls stood in their legendary triangle figure looking at each other swapping expressions now and then.
“What’s wrong with Kyle?” Edge questioned turning her attention to her alarmed friend who was grinding his teeth together.
“Star, does there happen to be someone with you?” Kyle grimaced.
Sky placed his gun back in his holster realizing this was not the place to pick a fight and it was definitely not the time to be fighting. He shrugged the situation off and walking over to the corner of the room where Elk stood leaning against the wall his hands in his pockets.
Star ginned ear to ear letting the mincing smile reach her bright sunny eyes. “Actually I have two someones with me.” Star stood like a statue perfectly still the smiled replaced with a calm controlled face as two men in their early twenties came to stand on either side of their partner. “I hope you remember these two.”
Everyone’s mouths dropped, but some for different reasons. The man on the left was a mirrored reflection of Kyle who looked a little wiser with the expression currently occupying his face. He looked exactly like Kyle all but the scar on Kyle’s face didn’t match the reflection that stood in the doorway. The man on the right had purple grayish hair that if the light hit it right it looked blue. He looked around the same age as the other male, but a little more childish in the face.
“B-brother?” Gun stuttered unbelieving at the man in front of her. “Reki? Is that you?”
“Yep. It sure is sis.” The man with purple colored hair said stepping in front of Star.
Gun ran to her brother embracing him warmly while Edge fell to her knees too shocked and overcome with joy to say anything.
Reki let go of Gun and walked over to Edge kneeling down to be face to face with his sister who had thought he had been dead this whole time. He wrapped his arms around her in a protecting way as he looked over her to see Sky behind Edge scowling. He turned his attention back to Edge, but was obviously talking to everyone in the room. “I need to explain.”
All Edge could do was nod as Kyle dragged her to her feet placing her on the couch where she sat wide eyed in shock. Her mouth trembled as silent tears fell from her eyes. She felt a presence beside her and realized it was Reki.
Reki looked behind him once again directly at Sky catching his gaze. “You’re the one who tried to kill me aren’t you?”
Sky shook his head and shrugged his shoulders innocently as he turned his back to Reki and turned his attention back to Elk. His personality had changed once again to that empty shell that was like a small child who was sleeping in their own bed for the first time. Timid and horrified at what might jump out at him.
“He doesn’t remember.” Spike said coming up behind Reki with Haku by his side. They both gave him a hug and backed off letting Edge and Reki have room.
Kyle starred at his living breathing mirror that seemed to never have his same expression, but today it reflected it perfectly. A grim weary face that was hard with frustration. “Jo what are you doing here? I thought you and Star were going to travel more? Your just causing problems you can’t surprise people like that you see what this did to Edge especially when you bring a dead friend back with you. As soon as Edge is stable your going to sit down and tell us everything and no fucking around. Got it!”
“Whatever bro. I decided to come back with Star because it was getting a little boring there. There aren’t as many devils to kill because there is more like us taking them out before we got the chance.” Jo said in a bit of a rougher tone than his twin. “Star wanted to come back too. I know your not happy to see me, but I will leave after the ‘Fall’ and war ok? So don’t get all worked up I’ll be gone soon enough unless Edge wants me to stay of course.” He smirked breaking the perfect resemblance of his and Kyle’s expression he had pasted on his face.
Kyle turned walking over to where Spike and Haku stood because they were the only two he could deal to be around at the moment. Ever since the brothers Kai and Kite had arrived things got a little complicated, but the group felt like a family once again until this happened. Now he knew everything was going straight to hell and it wasn’t a joke.
Rei stared up at Sky and Elk who stood close to him almost in a fatherly way as if they didn’t trust the visitors. He grabbed Elk’s hand and with the other hand he took Sky’s hand that was wrapped with his black leather gloves. “Who are they?” He asked looking up at Elk for an answer, but all he received was a shrug he would have been better off asking Sky the mute for an answer.
Gun and Star went over to the couch with their siblings who sat holding each other. They smiled already accepting the fact that Reki was not dead and that it had all been a lie even though they had already dealt with the fact of their brothers death. Now that they knew he was not dead they felt better inside even though Gun felt confusion she hid it in the back of her head just trying to enjoy the moment that would be explained later on when Edge did the same as her.
“So Star were you trying to break down the bloody door?” Kai asked with a heavy English accent as he had always because of his heritage. He stood cross armed next to his older brother Kite who rubbed his fingers through his thick tangled hair. “We really missed you even though now we have to fix the door you broke down. “ He smiled. “There is no one around here that is like you that we can have go with us on midnight trips to steal or do something idiotic.”
Star smiled slamming into Kai making him stumble backwards. “I missed you too!” She then let go and went over to Kite giving him the same kind of hug, but he did not stumble back like Kai.
Edge stood more steadily turning to Kite who was right beside her now with a raised eyebrow of curiosity. She walked over to him wrapping her right hand around her friends waist and with her free hand she held her head that swirled.
“Are you ok?” Kite asked his deep velvet voice washing over Edge comforting her. He wrapped his arm around Edge’s shoulders and with his other hand he played absentmindedly with her bangs. “Don’t worry so much actually don’t even think ok? Just relax and everything will be explained later for now just be happy that your brother is here in one piece. He loves you and he just wants you to be happy not stressing over this situation ok?” Kite smiled leaning down and kissing her unconsciously on the forehead.
Edge looked up with a more joyful face doing exactly what he told her. “I’ll just try and go with the flow from here on out.”
“There you go just take a deep breath or you’ll have an anxiety attack knowing you.”
“You two look cozy. Have I missed something?” Star giggled starring at Kite and Edge. “I thought you were with Kyle sis.”
“I am.” Edge replied slightly blushing.
Star placed one black fingernail to her temple. “Well right now I don’t care what is going on between you and your new boy toy I just want to know who that cutie is.” Star turned to Sky in the corner of the room his dull black guitar strapped to his back.
“Wow, falling in love with a murderer are we?” Kai questioned his expression thrown. “You know that damn bastard is the one who killed your brother right?”
Star grinned deviously. “Oh a bad boy huh? Sounds good to me.” Star bit her two lip ring between her teeth walking over to the monster who didn’t even know he had killed anyone. “So Mr. Hottie who are you?” She giggled biting on the end of her finger with her other hand in her pocket. She looked him dead in the eyes pools of blood engulfing her as she smiled seductively.
Sky felt the sweat on the back of his neck run down his back and soak his white hair. He had not ever been referred to as hot or cute because his looks were not normal for the average human and among devils he was a killer who had no mercy for his victims. Feeling his throat close he struggled to breath and he wandered if she even knew his voice had been stolen by the girl’s sister Edge.
